Some deep cuts
Let's jam out together
After going down a deep rabbit hole on YouTube for obscure music I have found some real gems. I know some of these artists are more popular nowadays, but some of these are real deep cuts. I like it. Life is good, man. Things are really clicking, I’m thankful. I’ve been working with a producer friend of mine lately to wrap up the beats for my debut album (coming in 2027). He is doing the bulk of the work when it comes to producing tracks, but I have saved myself some credits producing 3 or 4 songs on the album. I wanted to collaborate for a number of reasons, but particularly because I need to focus on songwriting and my vocal production on this album. Doing everything myself would take too long with everything I have going on in my life right now. He does great work, I’ll share his YouTube channel below. We have a similar sound, so when I reached out to him we immediately clicked artistically. I have been practicing specific affirmations since the start of this year, one of them being “the right people and connections come into my life with ease.” This definitely felt in-alignment with that statement! Woohoo! I’m constantly studying on YouTube for production and vocal tips, and I came across his videos one day.
Some of these tracks are heavy drum and bass, ambient techno, deep house, trippy stuff. I like it. It’s really dope and I think you guys need to hear it.

In other news, my second single drops in less than two weeks! WOAH!! Time flies when you’re having fun. The EP is set to release late this year. I need to come up with a name for it, y’all help me!! I need to meditate on that, really feel into what’s right for it. I’m so proud of the songs I’ve been writing, and this is only the beginning! Recently I was telling my Mom how blessed I feel to have invested so much into my software and music production setup already because it is really professional. I am able to capture a commercial sound already, it’s awesome!
Hey, I wanna hear your suggestions! What are your favorite songs to listen to, which artists are you actively following right now, and what are your favorite aesthetics? I’m showing you mine so you gotta show me yours, and all that. Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be seeing you next week! TTYL :)

Neuyorican Soul, holy smokes. Haven't thought about that in decades. So good. You've thrown down quite a gauntlet here. Give me a bit and I will hit you back.
