Farewell for now!
The end of an era is the beginning of a new one...
I have great news guys! I am taking a break from this newsletter. HA! Maybe not great news for you, but this is good for me. I have felt I’m too busy documenting my life and music journey instead of living it lately. And I love connecting with you guys every week, but I don’t want to be just another email clogging up your inbox. I want to share insightful, silly, interesting things with you all. And lately I’ve been feeling called to do something else. So I am going to go do that now! This is not the forever end to this newsletter, but rather an extended hiatus. I am sure I will revive this bad boy when the time is right. In the meantime, below are some of my favorite newsletters I’ve written lately that you might’ve missed – or just want to reread along with me. Farewell for now! Until we meet again online, or in person ;)
Pendulums are ruining your life
Our day to day lives are dictated by influences that are unseen to us. These things are known as pendulums or thought patterns. They exist in a reality that is unseen to us, or rather exist on a frequency that is outside the physical. Due to this, not many people are aware of them because a lot of people think the only thing that is real and has influen…
AI, Transhumanism, and the Rise of Internet Cults
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. AI. AI in music, AI in business, AI replacing working people and creating a hole within the employment sphere. Some backstory on my first opinions of AI; in 2019 I was pursuing a music performance degree at UIUC. Which basically meant that any job I could manage to snag after graduating was my destiny. I didn’t…
What can we learn from villains?
What can we learn from villains? As artists, we often go against the grain of societal expectations in life. Those who are successful are at constant odds with what is expected of them from the general public – but that is also what makes them so magnetic and desirable in their work. A villain doesn’t take days off. They don’t question their decisions –…
Be still and have patience
You’re walking in the forest with a blind man. Ahead of you is a large tree, nearly fallen from a lightning strike the night before. You both heard the crack as it hit the tree. You see ahead of you a nearly fallen tree. The blind man feels the ground, the leaves, the bark, the trunk, and says “this tree is strong, this tree is very old, this tree must …
Blue Dot Fever, another recession indicator
What is the most amount of money you have spent on a concert ticket? And who did you see? This week we’re talking about “Blue Dot Fever” and why so many huge acts are cancelling their tours. Now, I didn’t know what Blue Dot Fever was until just recently, but it is a term associated with concert tour cancellations due to poor ticket sales. When you buy a…
Are people getting meaner?
Guys I think social media is actually ruining people and their brains. No, seriously. And this is coming from someone who LOVES social media. Something I have noticed more and more is how uncivil, impolite, and overall narcissistic the general populace has become. I’m a very social person, who doesn’t struggle to make small talk with strangers when out …
